Here are some of the different ways cannabis is sold in-stores: flower (including pre-rolls), edibles, concentrates, sublinguals like tinctures, vapes (in 510-thread, pods, and disposables), and more.

  • Meriden is nicknamed “The Silver City,” as at one point it was home to the largest company that produced silver. We asked some of our local Silver City staff about what are some of the places that must be seen in the area and this is what they had to say:

Castle Craig. Located in Hubbard Park, Castle Craig is a stone observation tower atop East Peak that has been around since 1900. There are hiking trails open from May to October that allow access to the tower. Sitting just over 1000 ft above sea level, the view from the top reaches across all of greater Meriden.

Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort. The Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort caters to visitors year-round but is a major hot spot destination in winter for skiing and snowboarding. During the summer guests can go mountain biking, zip lining, and tubing really amping up that summertime fun. There are accommodations for overnight stays, restaurants for dining, and even lessons for all the activities, making Powder Ridge your one-stop for an eventful getaway.

American Soul Kitchen & Bar. Taste the tradition by “Trying Something Different,” at American Soul Kitchen and Bar. Soul food and American cuisine collide into dishes like Lobster Grilled Cheese, Smothered Pork Chops, and Fried Whiting. If you stop in mid-day, take advantage of their food Happy Hour, allowing you to get a taste without the pinch in your pocket.

Kinsmen Brewing. Two friends with a wealth of knowledge in business and a passion for beer knew they were called to do more than what they were, thus Kinsmen Brewing was created. This passion bled into every aspect of the business, from the taproom crafted by using local materials to create a state-of-the-art brewery to the brews in your pint glass. They have beers ranging from IPAs like Husky Hops to sours like Phenomenal Dancer.
